Under the yachts previous name ADRIEN with Jean Luc Van den Heede as skipper , she has held the single handed non stop around the world record since 2004, completing in 122 days from East to West against the direction of the wind, with the famous sailor Jean-Luc VAN DEN HEEDE.
Since she was sold to Maud Fontenoy who achieved a fantastic non stop single handed voyage around the world, beginning and ending at La Reunion (Indian Ocean) in 151 days, despite suffering a broken mast just a month before finishing the trip. TAHIA was henceforth known by the name of L'Oreal Paris.
