TEAM VISION
TEAM VISION is a Cape 31, a One Design racing yacht designed to deliver exceptional racing performance. The brainchild of Lord Irvine Laidlaw, an experienced sailor known for his Highland Fling fleet, and designed by Mark Mills, this 9.55-metre yacht is the result of cutting-edge engineering. Constructed in high-performance composite using a resin infusion moulding process, she has a light, robust structure, guaranteeing excellent handling and optimum speed, both upwind and downwind. Its 2.45 m draught and carbon keel ensure perfect stability, even in demanding conditions.
Launched in April 2023, this yacht has already proved its worth in three prestigious regattas, demonstrating its potential on the water. She has always been dry-sailed, which means she has never been left in the water for any length of time and has no antifouling, guaranteeing an impeccable condition and a high-performance hull.
The equipment on TEAM VISION lives up to the highest expectations: her carbon rig with a split mast and double spreaders is designed to maximise aerodynamics and sail power. Her Quantum set of sails includes several jibs, gennakers and a square mainsail, optimised for fast, fluid sailing. On board, the electronics are also state-of-the-art, with a B&G H5000 system incorporating an advanced navigation processor, Cyclops load cells, dual cockpit display, AIS and Wi-Fi connection for precise, secure navigation.
On the propulsion side, this yacht is equipped with a Yanmar 15HP engine with Sail Drive transmission and a Gori folding propeller, allowing a cruising speed of 5 to 6 knots and a maximum speed of 6.5 knots. Designed for demanding sailors, TEAM VISION is an ideal yacht for those wishing to compete in top-level regattas, while benefiting from modern design and impeccable maintenance. It represents a rare opportunity on the market, combining performance, reliability and technological excellence.
