SPIRIT OF MALOUEN X: A Second Price Reduction

A Wallycento Designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co

SPIRIT OF MALOUEN X was built in 2012 by Green Marine for Wally Yachts to a design by Judel/Vrolijk & Co. Originally launched as HAMILTON, this Wallycento was extended seven feet beyond the class box rule. She now measures 32.55 m in length and 7.20 m in beam, with a draft of 5.20 m. Her pre-preg carbon composite hull and Southern Spars high-modulus carbon mast and boom combine the lightness and stiffness required of a performance Maxi yacht.

A Maxi Yacht with an International Track Record

SPIRIT OF MALOUEN X has raced both the inshore Maxi circuit and major offshore events. In 2022, she won the Maxi class at Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. Her racing programme has also included the Rolex Middle Sea Race and the RORC Caribbean 600, two established offshore classics. This track record places the Wallycento within a programme spanning Mediterranean regattas, offshore competition and high-performance long-distance sailing.

A 32.55 m Carbon Platform Built for Speed

SPIRIT OF MALOUEN X measures 32.55 m in length, displaces 39.75 tonnes and draws 5.20 m. Her Southern Spars mast and boom are built in high-modulus carbon, while a new forestay was fitted in 2023. Her Doyle and North Sails wardrobe was also largely renewed that year, with up to 640 m² of sail area upwind and 1,500 m² downwind. This carbon platform and generous sail plan were developed for speed across both inshore Maxi racing and offshore courses.

Wallycento for Sale in Palma de Mallorca, Spain

This racing yacht sails under the Maltese flag and currently lies in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Her asking price drops from €6,100,000 to €4,500,000 VAT paid. A new 300 HP DIEMMAX D6LR-300 engine was fitted in 2023, while hydraulic furlers, HARKEN winches and B&G H5000 electronics with four 16-inch Zeus displays complete an equipment package developed for efficient manoeuvring and performance sailing.

A Wally Racer-Cruiser for Six Guests

Below deck, SPIRIT OF MALOUEN X combines her performance programme with an interior by Design Unlimited. She accommodates six guests in three cabins, with separate quarters for four crew. This configuration reflects the racer-cruiser concept behind the yacht: a Wallycento capable of competing on the international Maxi and offshore circuits while retaining genuine accommodation for cruising and life on board between regattas.
