ARMIDE (ex LA BOUFFONNE) was built in France in 1938 at the Bas Fort shipyard in Marseille. In 1966 she was bought by Mr Marchand & Mr Grimaldi, and then in 1990 by Mr Jean Paguiero, who undertook a complete refurbishment of the boat at Chantier du Pharo in Marseille.
