MACH 2, the McConaghy Banuls 60 for Sale
Built by McConaghy and designed by Banuls Design, MACH 2 is an 18.28-metre fast cruising catamaran. Delivered in 2013, this Banuls 60 accommodates up to eight guests and is offered for sale in Hong Kong at €2,150,000 excluding VAT.

MACH 2 combines lightweight glass-epoxy sandwich construction, extensive carbon structural components and a sail plan developed for performance. Her Lorima high-modulus carbon mast, asymmetric daggerboards and Harken deck hardware underline her sporting character. This catamaran offers four cabins for eight guests, two bathrooms, a bright saloon and a fully equipped galley. Twin 53 hp Yanmar engines ensure easy manoeuvring and reliable propulsion in light wind conditions.
A fast cruising platform
Measuring 18.28 metres in length with an 8.60-metre beam, MACH 2 offers a particularly stable and spacious cruising platform. Her stated light displacement of 9.30 tonnes reflects the focus on weight reduction pursued by McConaghy and Banuls Design.
A performance-oriented rig
MACH 2 features a 24-metre Lorima high-modulus carbon mast, a carbon boom and standing rigging combining Kevlar shrouds with Nitronic components. Three Karver furling systems complete her deck equipment.
Four cabins for eight guests
The interior layout includes two aft cabins with double berths and two forward cabins that can be configured with either double beds or bunk beds. Two bathrooms with electric toilets and showers complete the accommodation.
