The Palma International Boat Show 2025, held in the heart of Palma de Mallorca, remains one of the Mediterranean’s top yachting showcases. Among the seven yachts exhibited by BGYB was MAGIC CAT—a 25m catamaran with a unique pedigree, presented for the very first time at a public boat show. This exclusivity generated a great deal of curiosity and excitement among visitors, many of whom were eager to step aboard this legendary vessel. Designed by Gilles Ollier and built by Multiplast, MAGIC CAT shares DNA with iconic racing multihulls such as “Orange 2” and “Groupama 3.”
Her performance-driven design - sleek lines, lightweight build, and responsiveness - was especially appreciated by those with a passion for fast, exhilarating sailing. During the show, Gilles Ollier himself came aboard, remarking on how well the yacht has aged. He was able to witness firsthand that his original work remains intact and that MAGIC CAT is still in outstanding condition, thanks in part to a major refit completed in 2022.
The 25m² cockpit offers spacious lounging areas and easy access to the sea via twin aft platforms. Inside, guests enjoy a bright saloon with panoramic views, a refitted galley, and a dedicated dining area. Accommodating up to 8 guests in 4 double cabins - with separate crew quarters - MAGIC CAT is ideal for both private cruising and high-speed passages.
