Designed by VPLP Design and extensively refitted in 2019, this catamaran for sale in Marseille features a LORIMA carbon mast, a PETITJEAN carbon boom and a full set of 2021 DOYLE Stratis Carbon sails. A VPLP 77 Catamaran Built by Trimarine
Launched in 2003 to a VPLP Design plan, TAJ was built by Trimarine in carbon-reinforced composite. Her lightweight structure allows her to cover 300 to 350 nautical miles per day. Extensively refitted in 2019 with over €750,000 invested, she also had all interior finishes renewed in 2018. Formerly known as CORIOLAN VI, she has a competitive record that includes the St Tropez regattas.
Carbon Rig and 2021 DOYLE Sails
TAJ carries a LORIMA carbon mast and a PETITJEAN carbon boom, paired with a full set of DOYLE Stratis Carbon sails delivered in 2021, including a 197 m² mainsail. Twin aft helm stations, clear visibility from the cockpit and electric winches make her easy to handle with a reduced crew. The deck features new trampolines, premium hardware and electric davits.
Four Cabins and a Panoramic Saloon for 8 Guests
TAJ accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 cabins, each with a private bathroom, including a master suite fitted with a bathtub. The saloon, lit by large panoramic windows, offers several lounging areas, a full dining table and a bar with fridge and ice maker. The cockpit, protected by a hard bimini, seats 12 for al fresco dining. A separate crew cabin for 2 completes the layout.
Equipped for Bluewater Cruising
Powered by twin 110 hp NANNI engines fitted in 2018, TAJ cruises at 12 knots for a consumption of 20 l/h and a range of 1,200 nautical miles. Two ONAN generators of 19 and 10 kVA, two 250 l/h DESSALATOR watermakers and CLIMMA 40,000 BTU air conditioning ensure comfort on board. A 4.70 m RIB with outboard engine completes the inventory. She sails under the Maltese flag.
