The elegant and luxuous Y8 from YYachts

The new Y8 model is a follow-up to the very first YYacht model, for which the German shipyard has cooperated with the Mallorcan design studio, Surge Projects. The design of this yacht was conceived by Javier Jaudenes, who has made this yacht timeless and elegant thanks to his experience in designing fast yachts. This new model has a wider stern, so that in combination with the mast placed further back, Javier Jaudenes attests to the high speed potential of his design:

The Y8 of the german shipyard YYachts

"The Y8 is the result of a lot of research and development work from previous projects. It is the essence of our experience and will be fast, but at the same time very safe in all conditions. The new Y8 is a lot of fun. I would describe it as a good-humoured yacht.

Of course, the new Y8 also offers the innovative standards that YYachts are used to - such as the transverse garage at the stern, the self-tacking jib, the separate access for the crew in the cockpit or the flat deckhouse, whose optimally placed windows prevent the yacht from getting too hot.

By the way, the interior volume of the yacht is 20% larger than that of its predecessors "Cool Breeze", "Makai" or "Vegas Baby", which allows for numerous design possibilities. And by moving the engine room under the saloon floor, the yacht has a lower centre of gravity and therefore a better balance, which translates into extra speed.
