A Versatile Cruising Sailing Yacht
Built in 2012, VALERIANE is a unique 12.25-metre sailing yacht designed and constructed by naval architect Daniel Tortarolo for his own use. Created for bluewater cruising, she also stands out for her ability to access shallow-water areas thanks to her lifting keel. Fast, versatile and easy to handle, even with a small crew, VALERIANE is currently available for viewing in La Grande-Motte and offered at €69,000 VAT paid.
A Unique Sailing Yacht Designed by Daniel Tortarolo
VALERIANE is not a production model, but a one-off sailing yacht designed and built by naval architect Daniel Tortarolo. She was developed as a true owner’s yacht, with particular attention given to ease of use, versatility and sailing efficiency. This highly personal design gives her a distinctive character and makes her particularly well suited to independent cruising.
A Lifting Keel for Exploring Shallow Waters
One of VALERIANE’s main advantages is her lifting keel. Her draft can vary from 1.80 to 3 metres, combining strong sailing performance with the ability to access anchorages, harbours and coastal areas that are often difficult to reach with a conventional bluewater sailing yacht. This configuration provides genuine versatility for owners wishing to alternate between offshore passages and coastal exploration.
Easy Handling, Even with a Small Crew
VALERIANE’s deck layout and equipment have been arranged to simplify manoeuvres, including when sailing single-handed. She is fitted with self-tailing winches, a Raymarine autopilot with hydraulic ram, a 1,500 W Lewmar electric windlass, as well as Furuno and Raymarine navigation electronics. Her 40 hp Sole Diesel engine provides a cruising speed of approximately 6 knots, with a stated fuel consumption of 2 litres per hour.
A Functional Interior with Three Cabin Areas
VALERIANE’s interior focuses on practicality and ease of movement on board. Her layout includes three open cabin areas, a bright saloon, a large starboard chart table and a galley equipped with an ENO two-burner stove and oven, a refrigerator and a freezer.
