CELESTIA

CELESTIA is a 45-metre custom-built phinisi yacht created for travellers seeking an authentic yet refined way to explore Indonesia. Built entirely by hand in Bulukumba, CELESTIA is the result of exceptional craftsmanship passed down through generations of Indonesian shipbuilders. Her twin-masted silhouette draws inspiration from historic Spice Trade schooners, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Constructed using responsibly sourced local ironwood and teak, this sailing yacht embodies a deep respect for tradition while embracing modern comfort and design.

Life on board unfolds primarily outdoors, with generous deck spaces thoughtfully arranged to encourage relaxation and connection with the surrounding environment. From shaded lounging areas and inviting daybeds to open-air dining spaces and elevated viewpoints overlooking sea and sky, CELESTIA offers a variety of settings where guests can unwind at their own pace.

Her interiors are calm, elegant and welcoming. Designed by Cape Town-based interior designer Deirdre Renniers, the spaces combine clean, modern lines with handcrafted elements created by Balinese artisans. This careful balance results in warm, understated interiors that feel both luxurious and deeply rooted in local culture. Amongst her 7 cabins are 4 beautiful staterooms, following the same philosophy of comfort and privacy. The master and VIP staterooms are particularly special, as they both feature their own private terraces, perfect for admiring the surrounding Indonesian landscape.

Part of what makes a charter with CELESTIA so exceptional is her dedicated crew of 17. Under the direction of Michelin-trained Executive Chef Wayan Kresna Yasa, cuisine on board highlights regional ingredients and flavours, tailored to guests’ preferences. Hand-crafted cocktails are also available throughout the day.

Beyond comfort, CELESTIA is designed to reconnect guests with nature. On board, wellness moments include sunrise yoga, massage treatments and evenings spent star-gazing far from artificial light. Adventure awaits with activities ranging from scuba diving to water skiing. Shore excursions add another dimension to the journey, with guided hikes to hidden waterfalls, visits to remote islands and encounters with the rich cultural history of the region.
