CASSIOPEIA (ex Eagle) was purchased by her present owner in  the summer of 2008. The owner is an experienced yachtsman and also a boatyard owner so all works carried out in 2009/10 have been done to the highest standard. The legendary Swan 65 is one of the best known designs by Sparkman & Stephens. This is hull number 14 of a total of 41 of these fine boats built over a 17-year period.
These yachts are known for their superior hull strength, control in any sea state, sea kindly sailing characteristics, and fine turns of speed, the Swan 65 is a timeless classic. The series became famous with the victory of Swan 65 SAYULA in Whitbread Round the World Race in 1973.
Refitted from 1999 to 2003, CASSIOPEIA has been upgraded with all modern systems. Further upgrades and substantial refitting in 2008 and 2009/10.
