PEARL is an exceptional Grand Mistral Maxi One Design sailing yacht, built in France by Mistral Composite and designed by the world-renowned naval architect Bruce Farr. Originally built for ocean racing, PEARL underwent a full professional conversion between 2010 and 2023, transforming her into a high-performance cruising yacht, perfectly suited for shorthanded long-distance voyaging.
With a length of 24 meters and sleek, powerful lines, PEARL combines racing pedigree with cruising comfort. Her Kevlar/epoxy hull reinforced with carbon ensures strength and stiffness, while her carbon rig and 2023 Evolution Sails inventory deliver impressive performance: up to 24 knots of top speed, with average daily runs of 250–300 NM in moderate trade wind conditions. She excels upwind, maintaining speed with apparent wind angles as low as 25°.
The interior is bright, functional and comfortable, offering one master double cabin with ensuite head, two single cabins, a fully equipped galley, spacious saloon, technical workshop, and a dedicated laundry room. She is fully autonomous thanks to a 250L/h watermaker, two generators, Webasto central heating, and a complete suite of Simrad electronics (2025) including radar, AIS, satellite communication, and autopilot redundancy. Safety equipment includes offshore-rated liferafts, AIS beacons, and EPIRB.
On deck, PEARL features a carbon swing swim platform, sliding dodger, solid teak deck (2016), electric winches, bow thruster, and optimized layout for shorthanded sailing.
PEARL is also equipped for leisure and adventure: AB 12’ tender (2023) with Yamaha outboard, wing foil gear, full diving setup, windsurfing equipment, fishing gear, and even a sailmaker’s sewing machine.
