THE CAT is a 52ft ULDB sailing monohull designed by renowned French naval architect Jacques Fauroux and carefully owner-built in 2009 with a CE certification issued by the ICMM Bureau. With a length of 15.95 m, her elegant profile and lightweight construction, she was designed to deliver great sailing sensations while remaining perfectly suited to long-distance cruising.
Fast and seaworthy, THE CAT stands out for her ability to sail efficiently, even in light winds. Her lightweight design, lifting keel and twin carbon rudders allow her to combine speed, stability and enjoyable handling. Under sail, she can reach 8 to 9 knots in light winds and 10 to 13 knots in 15 to 20 knots of wind, making her a particularly pleasant sailing yacht for longer passages.
Her carbon rig, complete WILLIAMSON sail wardrobe and large cockpit offer a versatile sailing programme, ideal for both fast cruising and offshore sailing. The spacious and convivial cockpit features a dining table and two bunks, creating a pleasant outdoor living area to enjoy life at sea.
Inside, THE CAT offers comfortable accommodation for up to 6 guests in 3 cabins, with 3 heads, a large U-shaped saloon and a particularly spacious galley. THE CAT represents a great opportunity for an owner looking for a fast, seaworthy and comfortable sailing yacht for long-distance cruising.
