Yacht for sale : ROCQUETTE
A legend! ROCQUETTE is a classic 43 ft racing sloop built in 1964 following a Peter Nicholson drawing in response to the American challenge in the Admiral's Cup.Considered very innovative concept at the time, this extremely robust offshore ocean racer sailed by her architect himself, fulfilled all expectations in winning every race in the year of her launch.
“ROCQUETTE is clearly a new type of offshore racer” - Yachting World Annual, 1966. Peter Nicholson’s personal boat, ROCQUETTE was sold in early 1965 to a new owner. ROCQUETTE has been run by a crew of passionate sailors in about forty RORC races and she sailed in all weather conditions in the West Atlantic from Ireland to Spain until the early 70s.
