TILIKUM DELTA is a 24.70m classic motor yacht built in 1963 by the Barsanti shipyard in Viareggio. Planked in mahogany on oak frames, this wooden yacht had her hull re-caulked the traditional way between 2022 and 2024. She is now offered for sale.

TILIKUM DELTA brings together everything that makes a traditional yacht so special: mahogany planking on oak frames, a superstructure trimmed in mahogany and chestnut and a teak deck, reflecting a level of craftsmanship that has become rare. Her twin Mercedes engines were fully rebuilt in 2017. On the main deck, a varnished wood wheelhouse leads to the galley and a saloon with its original teak floor. Below deck, four cabins accommodate up to eight guests, including a master suite with bathtub, while the crew enjoy two cabins forward.
A 1963 Barsanti Classic Yacht
Launched in 1963 by the Barsanti shipyard in Viareggio, TILIKUM DELTA was first operated by a Belgian owner, then kept for many years by a Spanish family. This wooden yacht has been with her current owner for more than a decade.
A Traditionally Re-Caulked Hull
Between 2022 and 2024, her hull was fully re-caulked with hemp above and below the waterline, and oxidised fastenings were replaced with bronze screws. The result is a dry hull with no seepage.
Original Wheelhouse and Saloon
The varnished wood wheelhouse retains its original engine controls, while the saloon keeps its original teak floor and chestnut deckhead. A wide side deck runs from aft to the foredeck, and a large sheltered cockpit gives access to the flybridge.
Four Cabins for Eight Guests
The master suite forward features an ensuite bathroom with bathtub. Two double cabins and an aft cabin complete the accommodation for eight guests, while the crew are housed in two cabins in the forepeak.
A Well-Equipped Classic Yacht
TILIKUM DELTA features twin Mercedes engines fully rebuilt in 2017, Naiad stabilisers and air conditioning throughout, with a range of 1,600 NM at 7.5 knots. A new tender, two kayaks and diving equipment complete her inventory.
