Class 40 for Sale: New Asking Price

Launched in October 2021 by Multiplast to a VPLP Design, ERNEST is a Class 40 measuring 12.18m overall, with a 4.50m beam and a 3.00m draft. Her composite construction, twin lifting rudders and 750-litre water ballast on each side make her a yacht conceived for offshore racing.

The racing record of this Class 40 for sale

ERNEST competed in the 2022 Route du Rhum, the great solo transatlantic race from Saint-Malo to Guadeloupe. Just one year after her launch, this racing yacht proved her reliability offshore.

Carbon mast and racing sails

ERNEST is rigged with a Z-SPARS carbon mast, new in 2022. Her complete ALL PURPOSE sail wardrobe covers every point of sail, from the headsails to the large spinnakers.

Full B&G electronics

All of her onboard electronics are by B&G, from the navigation instruments to the autopilot. Iridium satellite communications keep her in touch with the shore, even far from the coast.

Great autonomy at sea

With a watermaker for fresh water and solar panels for energy, ERNEST has the autonomy needed for long passages, with no need for a stopover along the way.

Protected cockpit and safety equipment

Her well-protected cockpit shelters the skipper through long hours on watch. The safety equipment is complete, and ERNEST is sold with her cradle and numerous spares.
