The racing yacht ERNEST, built by MULTIPLAST in France and designed by VPLP Design, is a state-of-the-art Class 40 launched in October 2021. With an overall length of 12.18 m, a maximum beam of 4.50 m, and a draft of 3.00 m, ERNEST is designed to optimize speed and stability on the open sea. Its full composite construction ensures an optimal strength-to-weight ratio.

Built for offshore racing, ERNEST features a well-protected cockpit, a four-person life raft, and an EPIRB beacon valid until 2028. Its grab bag includes a portable Iridium phone with a backup battery, a portable VHF, a SART radar, and a portable GPS.
