DARK STAR OF LONDON: Looking Back on the Sardinia Nautical Fair 2025
The 90ft Trehard DARK STAR OF LONDON turned heads at the 2025 Sardinia Nautical Fair in Porto Rotondo where she welcomed visitors and hosted events. She is available for charter this summer for up to 10 guests guests in 5 cabins.
The Sardinia Nautical Fair
Now in its 7th edition, the Sardinia Nautical Fair gathered maritime professionals and enthusiasts at the scenic Marina of Olbia in Porto Rotondo. With free entry and strong international interest, the event showcased a wide selection of boats and equipment, reinforcing Sardinia’s status as a top yachting destination. Among the standouts was DARK STAR OF LONDON, a 27.5-metre sailing yacht built by Trehard and designed by Martin Francis. With her sleek profile and racing background, she offers a refined charter experience following major refits in 2000 and 2023–2024.
Onboard Highlights
In addition to welcoming many visitors to the yacht, Junior Charter Broker, Nadia, hosted a couple of onboard events for visiting brokers.
Cocktail & Canapés Evening
Guests were welcomed aboard to enjoy a relaxed evening of local Sardinian wines and a selection of classic cocktails. The atmosphere was complemented by seven unique seafood canapés, each crafted to showcase the flavours of the Italian coast. From start to finish, the gathering allowed guests to discover the yacht in a warm and informal setting.
Brokers' Dinner
Six brokers were welcomed aboard for an exclusive sunset dinner experience. The evening featured a five-course menu crafted by the yacht’s chef, built around a seafood theme and featuring the freshest local ingredients from Sardinia. Dishes included sautéed mussels, local tuna tartare, sea bream tartare, and a surprise dessert from the chef - offering guests a true taste of the region in an elegant and intimate setting.
DARK STAR OF LONDON is available for charter this summer for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins with a crew of 3.
