Classic 20 DOLCE VITA
DOLCE VITA, built in 2004, was created by a small shipyard specialised in wooden construction in Santander, Spain. The hull and superstructure are made of wood, mixing traditional construction and design with the latest techniques. She truly resembles the timeless elegance of more traditional classic yachts . DOLCE VITA has been designed with enjoying comfortable holidays in mind, sailing peacefully, easily and safely. The yacht is mainly used for shorter journeys, but her fuel range stretches to further extended coastal trips. DOLCE VITA’s romantic exterior lines transport all her viewers to another era while incorporating all the present-day conveniences associated with recreational navigation. Her bathing platform is easily accessed by activating a hydraulic mechanism that opens the stern and is accompanied by a convenient folding bathing ladder.
The cockpit lends itself nicely to a spacious communal living area comprised of a saloon, dining room and galley, in which all the appliances are concealed by wooden cupboards, including the central aisle. The galley is located furthest aft and offers two benches set on either side, as well as a central aisle. In addition, the central aisle and the benches are fitted with pull-out or folding extensions to provide an additional work surface. The forward area of DOLCE VITA has been reserved for the saloon and dining area, made up of an L-shaped sofa and a folding leaf table that accommodates up to ten guests for dining. The yacht is very well equipped to achieve total comfort on board and includes air-conditioning, an audio video system, a dishwasher, a washing machine, an oven, hob plates, an ice-maker, an outside barbecue, TVs in most of the cabins as well as a fridge and freezer.
DOLCE VITA sleeps 6 passengers with accommodation distributed both forward and aft of her communal area, accessed in both cases by a descending stairway. The owner enjoys a full-beam, bright cabin located at the aft, including a spacious study and a great deal of built-in storage capacity. From here, a door provides direct access to the cockpit. In the en-suite bathroom, both the shower and lavatory are separated by sliding screens. In the forward section, DOLCE VITA offers 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabin with berths to each side with sliding access doors. One of these provides a private bathroom whilst the other shares that of the double cabin. Wood has also been used in the interior decoration of the bathrooms.
