EMERALD

EMERALD is a rare Classic Gentleman’s Yacht designed by famed naval architect John Bain and built in 1957 by the distinguished James A. Silver Shipyard in Scotland. Fully restored in 2014 by the renowned Mostes shipyard in Genova, Italy, this 26-meter yacht blends timeless elegance with modern-day comfort.

Her hull is constructed entirely from teak and wood with traditional craftsmanship, combining beauty and strength. The layout is unique, divided into three equal zones (fore, midship, aft), offering generous and well-balanced volumes uncommon in yachts of this class. A gyroscopic stabilizer ensures smooth cruising and excellent comfort both underway and at anchor.

The interior has been completely redesigned in bright, refined tones—golden teak floors, warm mahogany ceilings, white lacquered panels, and soft cream upholstery give a sense of calm sophistication. The panoramic main salon, fully windowed, leads to a vintage-style pilothouse with curved glass and a traditional wooden wheel.

EMERALD accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 air-conditioned staterooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. The owner has his own suite in the back. The crew quarters are located forward and include a professional galley, wine cellar, and accommodations for up to 4 crew members.

Outside, guests enjoy a shaded cockpit perfect for alfresco dining, a large flybridge convertible into a sunbathing area, and a clear foredeck designed to host a tender and hydraulic crane. She’s equipped with modern electronics.

EMERALD is a floating piece of history, ideal for classic yacht collectors, liveaboard enthusiasts, or stylish coastal cruising.
