KENAPI TEN is an Island Gypsy 44 trawler designed and built by Kong & Halversen in China in 1989. This 13.50 m long-range cruiser combines the traditional trawler profile with a galley-up layout, the galley sitting on the saloon level. Her solid GRP semi-displacement hull, with generous freeboard and hard chines, is protected by a prop-protecting full-length keel. Refitted in 2025, she also underwent an osmosis treatment in 2023.

Inside, three cabins accommodate up to six guests: a spacious owner's stateroom aft, whose bed has been extended to 1.80 m wide and complemented by a new sofa, and two guest cabins forward of the saloon. Two heads, each with a stall shower, complete the accommodation. Burmese teak woodwork gives the interior a lavish finish, with the interior varnish renewed during the refit. The deck saloon brings together the galley aft to port, easily accessed from outside, the dining table to port and the interior navigation station forward to starboard.

Outside, wide side decks lead to the large flybridge, with the helm forward and an exterior navigation station. The aft deck, the flybridge sole, the handrails and the transom are all in teak. The radar mast folds down, and a sun awning up front creates a sunbathing area. In 2025 she received a new extended bathing platform and a new Opacmare hydraulic gangway.

Twin 135 HP Ford Lehman engines, fully serviced and upgraded during the 2025 refit, drive her at a cruising speed of 8 knots for 16 l/h, with a range of 1,500 NM and 3,000 l of fuel. A Vetus bow thruster is fitted. On board are 600 Ah Victron lithium service batteries new in 2025, a new Victron charger and inverter, a 7 kW Onan generator and 24,000 BTU air conditioning. Navigation relies on a Garmin GPSMAP 923 chartplotter and a Garmin autopilot, both new in 2025, together with radar. Maintained and upgraded over the years, KENAPI TEN is a trawler built for long-range cruising.
