MANA
The Catamaran Privilege 5 Series MANA, launched in August 2019 to a private owner and with a perfect set-up for long distance cruising. From the hydranet sails, the full lithium battery set-up and induction stove to the flir camera set, everything is top of the range and in excellent condition. Privilege Marine brings an unequalled combination of build quality, attention to detail and a luxury feel on a boat that gives more than respectable sailing performance. The Privilege 5 Series is a perfect size for shorthanded sailing, both easy to handle and big enough to give a smooth ride. There is the signature owners cabin, which on MANA spans the full bridgedeck, and she’s has been customized for her very tall owner (2m), with extra height in the saloon, bathrooms.
The Privilege 5 Series MANA has 3 double cabins each with a private bathroom and smartly customized storage solutions so sailing long term with all your gear won’t present a problem. The saloon is wide and light and split between the galley and the seating area where you can dine or drop the table down and enjoy a movie on the slide out 32” TV connected to a NAS storage (the entertainment systems are also replicated in the 2 aft cabins). The galley as mentioned is fully electric with top notch Miele appliances running off a Lithium battery bank including washing machine, microwave, dishwasher.
There is an Onan 11kW generator and reverse cycle air-conditioning and also 1820W of solar power and a watt and sea hydro generator. The electrical system is fully protected with isolation transformers and all the appliances can run off the inverters. There is a 200l/h watermaker with a smart filter and purification system so you’ll always be drinking the best. The saloon flows into the cockpit through a large sliding door, where you’ll find a very large teak cockpit table that folds away as needed, extra cockpit lockers and access to the helmstation. The whole space has a double sun/rain full cockpit cover that make this a very protected space. The helm station is fully equipped with a 16” Raymarine plotter as well as controls for the autopilot, Raymarine CAM and Flir cameras, windlass and engines etc. The sailing setup is equally complete with hydranet mainsail and genoa, gennaker (very light use) and parasailer (also lightly used). There is really nothing missing on MANA, from the recent maintenance to the equipment list, the boat is absolutely ready to keep sailing.
