OUTLAW is a legendary classic sailing yacht, built in 1963 by the renowned British shipyard Souters of Cowes, and designed by the famous naval architects Illingworth & Primrose. This Cutter Rigged Marconi Sloop made headlines in the yachting world from the moment she was launched, thanks to her innovative lightweight construction and her illustrious first owner, Sir Max Aitken M.P., a leading figure in British yachting circles.

Purpose-built for offshore racing, OUTLAW led Great Britain to victory in the prestigious Admiral’s Cup the same year. Her cold-moulded mahogany construction, 7 to 8 layers of 3mm bonded with resorcinol glue, combined lightness, strength and performance in a pioneering design. Classified as a Class 1 RORC Ocean Racer, she continued a successful racing career, crossed the Atlantic twice, and cruised extensively across Europe before settling on the French Riviera in 1989.
