NOMAD IV

NOMAD IV is a fantastic sailing yacht, designed by the famous architects Finot Conq and built in Italy by Dolphin Yachts. She is a part of a new concept of large sailing yachts, with a high freeboard, large beam and huge sail area allowing her unequalled sailing performances as well as huge spaces for the accommodation of guests. She is particularly comfortable thanks to her length and her similarly large interior and exterior spaces.

Her lateral ballasts mean she can sail almost flat and a lifting keel permits entry into a variety of ports and anchorages. Her large cockpit with 2 tables, each capable of seating up to 12, is ideal for relaxed dinners on board, and the ample sunbathing space permits owners and guests to soak up the rays in total comfort. Her deck saloon has stunning 360° panoramic views.

In the RORC Transatlantic Race 2015, skippered by Jean-Paul Rivière, NOMAD IV finished first place in the monohull rank and set a new monohull record for the RORC Transatlantic Race. She set this record at 10 days, 7 hours, 6 minutes and 59 seconds, coming to Grenada at 19.06 and 59 seconds UTC on the 8th of December 2015, taking Monohull Line Honours to win the International Maxi Association Transatlantic Trophy.
