Designed by Sparkman & Stephens, the S&S 104 RS SILVERLINING is a 31.60 m (104 ft) blue water cruising yacht built in 2011 by Phithak Shipyard in Satun, Thailand. With an aluminium hull and superstructure, a grey and white livery and ABS-standard construction, she was conceived to take on the world's oceans.
Built for a first owner who wanted to set off on a global family adventure, she enjoyed six years of voyaging. Her second owner, whose ambition was to cruise the Pacific safely with friends and family, launched an extensive maintenance programme: SILVERLINING is now presented in perfect, sail-away condition.
Tailored to tropical cruising, her spacious deck offers sun pads, custom awnings and easy access from the cockpit to the upper saloon, ideal for al fresco dining with ocean views. Inside, Chris Lenz's interior creates a light, relaxing atmosphere, with expansive windows in the upper and lower saloons framing panoramic views. Eight guests are accommodated in four cabins: a full-beam owner's suite with a glass-walled bathroom and a handcrafted wooden bathtub, and three further cabins on the lower deck. The crew has its own quarters, with a captain's cabin, two further cabins and a dedicated mess.
Between 2022 and 2023, a major refit renewed the standing and running rigging, the sails, the lithium batteries, the electronics and the communications, while the engine and generators underwent a complete overhaul. Powered by a 480 HP Caterpillar C12, this sailing yacht cruises at 10 knots and has a range of 2,500 nautical miles at economic speed. A jet tender, diving equipment and kayaks complete the line-up for adventure and relaxation alike.
With more than 50,000 nautical miles cruised as both a private and a charter yacht, SILVERLINING has a proven track record in Southeast Asia, where she is considered one of the few world-class yachts of the region. She is ready for new adventures, whether long-distance cruising or charter.
