STELLA OF RORC is opening her Summer 2027 Mediterranean calendar. This German Frers-designed Swan 82 FD will cruise from the Balearics to Sardinia, with a stay in Naples from June to mid-July for the 38th America’s Cup. Up to 8 guests can stay on board.

Charter STELLA OF RORC for a Mediterranean sailing holiday in summer 2027. This 24.89m Swan 82 FD, designed by German Frers and built by Nautor Swan, was extensively refitted in 2024. Her programme begins in the Balearics in April and May before moving to the south of France in early June. From June to mid-July, she will be based in Naples for the 38th America’s Cup in the Gulf of Naples, before continuing to Sardinia, Corsica or the Balearics in August and September. On board, 3 en suite cabins welcome up to 8 guests, supported by a professional crew of 3. This varied itinerary combines Mediterranean cruising with the opportunity to experience one of sailing’s major international events.

Why Start the Season in the Balearics?
STELLA OF RORC will begin her Mediterranean programme in the Balearics during April and May. Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza provide a mix of sheltered coves and anchorages for sailing before the yacht continues towards the French Mediterranean coast at the beginning of June.
Where Can You Cruise in Southern France?
In early June, STELLA OF RORC will cruise along the south coast of France. Her programme can include Marseille, Saint-Tropez and the French Riviera before she continues east towards Naples for the next stage of her summer itinerary.
Why Head to Naples for the America’s Cup?
From June to mid-July, STELLA OF RORC will be based in Naples during the 38th America’s Cup. The Louis Vuitton Cup begins on 22 May, while the Match runs from 10–18 July 2027 in the Gulf of Naples, creating the opportunity to combine Mediterranean sailing with one of the major events on the international sailing calendar.
Where Can You Cruise in August and September?
Following Naples, STELLA OF RORC will continue her summer programme between Sardinia, Corsica and the Balearic Islands. These Western Mediterranean cruising areas allow the season to continue through August and September, with itineraries adapted around the yacht’s availability.
What Did the 2024 Refit Include?
Her extensive 2024 refit included a new teak deck, North 3Di sails, upgraded navigation and entertainment systems and a complete rig service. These improvements refresh the Swan 82 FD for future charter seasons while retaining the design and sailing pedigree associated with Nautor Swan and German Frers.
